I have been fortunate enough to come from a mixed background. My mother being from Uruguay and my father obviously Lebanese its been a interesting 22 years growing up in this multicultural country as well as family. Considering my father is of a Lebanese background there has always been a strong influence of the Lebanese culture in our house hold. This culture has taught me true family values, and respect for myself and others.
I am a qualified interior decorator; however my love for children led me to change my career path. I am in the last stages of completing a diploma in Children Services and currently work full time in a childcare centre as a supervisor for 0 – 2 year olds.
I love life and its offerings. I try to always surround myself with the positives of the world and will jump at any opportunity to have fun and experience life in its simplest form.
At the end of the day I’m just a simple girl that loves nice things.

Contest: Samantha Moubarak Hey everyone, On Saturday the 27th of March I will be walking from my house in Marrickville to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. My aim is to raise money for The Children’s Hospital but also having fun whilst achieving this. The walk is approximately 5 hours, give and take for drink breaks. This Saturday the 13th, Banana Joes in Marrickville (258 Illawarra Road) have allowed me to do a sausage sizzle fundraiser. They have agreed to allow me to do this every second saturday starting at 11am. This week because it is the first week, i will have only the sausages but as the weeks progress I will make cupcakes, lebanese chocolates ( which I will be selling as an individual fundraiser aswell) etc. Through Banana Joes I have meet many potential sponsors in the Marrickville community. I had a graphics designer make me beautiful posters which will be stuck on the window so that customers are aware of who I am and what my aim is. Its going to be a lovely day and the publicity that it will bring for me in the community will be great. |
