To get by in life, I believe you need to be able to not only have a serious outlook on certain aspects, but also to have a positive and fun outlook to match.
Those that know me will tell you I’ve usually always got a smile on my face. I’m a bubbly and outgoing kinda girl who’s always up for a laugh and appreciate a good joke at any time!
Even though I do enjoy having fun and enjoying myself, I also make sure that I put my all into everything I need to get done, whether it be my uni work, my work, looking after my loved ones or even the housework! In saying that, I do make sure that I’m enjoying what I’m doing – I love my music so that pretty much gets me through those less than thrilling moments – and takes me to those that get me dancing!
I love new experiences and challenges; which is what brought me to enter Miss Lebanon Australia 2010! Getting out of my comfort zone pushes me to new limits and the uncertainty of it all is the thrill that keeps me going! Life’s all about getting out there and experiencing new things – what’s life without taking some risks!
I currently study Accounting at UWS Parramatta – it is hard work and I do need to work hard at it but I’m getting there! Uni wouldn’t be uni without my friends – there’s never a dull moment when we’re all together – talk about having a laugh!
Being a Lebanese girl, I was of course raised to learn all the tricks of the trade, and if I must say so myself I think my parents did a pretty good job! Cooking, cleaning, looking after kids – I think I have it pretty much down pat!
I have a deep love for travel – I haven’t travelled enough but my next trip is scheduled for Lebanon this year! It’s been about 5 years so the travel bug is in need of an urgent revival! I’m aiming to travel to The Maldives, USA, and Greek Islands & hopefully go on a P&O Cruise. Guess Nat will be working extra hard to afford it all!
I believe life is too short – and laughter really is the best medicine!

This Saturday the 13th, Banana Joes in Marrickville (258 Illawarra Road) have allowed me to do a sausage sizzle fundraiser. They have agreed to allow me to do this every second saturday starting at 11am. This week because it is the first week, i will have only the sausages but as the weeks progress I will make cupcakes, lebanese chocolates ( which I will be selling as an individual fundraiser aswell) etc. Through Banana Joes I have meet many potential sponsors in the Marrickville community. I had a graphics designer make me beautiful posters which will be stuck on the window so that customers are aware of who I am and what my aim is. Its going to be a lovely day and the publicity that it will bring for me in the community will be great. |
