Ladies & Gentlemen, Good evening.

Firstly, Id like to make reference to the Lord Mayor of Parramatta, Mr Tony Issa.

Id like to thank you for arranging this wonderful & Civic evening in recognition of my crowning as MLA 2009.

I must also thank all the Citizens of Parramatta for so openly welcoming me.

To all Guests, Iwarmly thank you for your attendance.

To Mr Joe Khoury OAM, Id like to thank you for all your support in leading up to and during the MLA 2009 Pageant.

Whilst my reign as MLA has been brief, I wish to express the great joy since taking on the role.

I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people & I have been overwhelmed with messages of luck from friends & family & even new friends I have made since being crowned.

As MLA 2009 my mission is to raise funds for various charities accross Australia & Overseas. I hope to do so by making my events a little more contemporary & fun, & giving all the attendees the opportunity to experience something different.

Once again, I would like to thank each & every one of you for your support & I hope to see you again soon.
